They have 9 children, 3 biological and 6 adopted.(Marvin, Joycelyn, Derrick, Brittany, Cheryl, Princess, Maya, Destiny, and Nazion). She is the 8th child of 11 siblings. She received a Master’s Degree from Webster University, Myrtle Beach, SC in Clinical Counseling, a Master’s of Education Degree. Cambridge College, Augusta, GA in School Guidance Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix AZ. Mrs. McClam is a hard worker, ambitious, and prodigiously talented in a variety of spheres and all of these attributes to her much deserved successes in life. Mrs. McClam is a lover of books and she enjoys reading aloud and singing to young children. She says that writing this book, As A Good Mother Should, came from inspirations from her father and mother who has always been there for her and they taught her from an early age that she can do anything that she puts he mind to. She also said that this has been a very special and exciting time for her, because this is her first book published and she want to continue with the family tradition of writing and telling stories.
